WearCoat

  • Wearcoat 480NY is a two component, non-yellowing, light stabilized, 100% solids high performance epoxy floor coating. Wearcoat 480NY is a non-yellowing, high build, 100% solids epoxy floor coatings with very good chemical resistance properties, zero VOC, extremely low odor and a wide range of film thickness. Wearcoat 480NY is ideally suited for decorative floors that require a high build clear that is light stable.
  • Wearcoat 100 Two package aliphatic urethane, polyester type, finish coating for exterior applications and can be applied over a wide variety of properly prepared and primed substrates including structural steel, cold rolled steel, aluminum, concrete, plastics and galvanized steel. WEARCOAT 100 has non-yellowing, non-chalking properties combined with excellent abrasion, chemical, solvent and good heat resistance properties. It provides excellent gloss retention and will continue to retain a high gloss through many years of service.
  • Wearcoat 106 MCU is recommended for use in warehouse and factory facilities where a protective coating is needed to stop dusting and wear of concrete due to traffic and chemical attack. Wearcoat 106 MCU forms an extremely hard, chemical resistant film which has exceptional wetting properties to porous substrates. It will penetrate concrete very readily and will actually develop a reinforcing bond at the substrate interface. - Excellent adhesion to concrete and wood. - Cures quickly and at low temperatures. - High chemical resistance and abrasion resistance. - Very effective for use as a form release on concrete forms
  • Wearcoat 440 is a 100% solids industrial epoxy floor coating intended for use as a primer, broadcast binder, or topcoat. - Economical coating for general industrial flooring use. - Clear formulation makes and excellent high-build primer or broadcast binder - Very high resistance to amine blush. - Available in a fast set version as Wearcoat 440FS.
  • Wearcoat 480 is a 100% solids, self-leveling, epoxy floor coating with very good chemical resistance properties, zero VOC, extremely low odor, and a wide range of film thickness. - Superior self-leveling creates a smooth and glass-like finish. - Can also be used as an intermediate coat to level floors with a high profile surface preparation. - Available in a fast set version as Wearcoat 480FS.
  • Wearcoat 490 is a two component polyamide epoxy primer for use on cementitious substrates. - Very surface tolerant and can be applied in damp environments. - Long recoat window allows excellent topcoat adhesion. - Usualy top coated with Wearcoat 480, Wearcoat 491, or Wearcoat 100.
  • Wearcoat 491 is a two component high solids polyamide epoxy finish coat. - Very surface tolerant and can be applied in damp environments. - Economical coating with good abrasion and chemical resistance. - Use with Wearcoat 490 or Wearcoat 499 primers.
  • Wearcoat 499 is a two component polyamide epoxy primer with corrosion inhibiting pigments for use on metal substrates. - Very surface tolerant and can be applied in damp environments. - Easy to apply by brush, roller, or spray. - Requires a Urethabond topcoat for exterior use.
  • U-104 is an aluminum filled, solvent-based,single component moisture-cure urethane for use as a primer over metal or concrete. It is estimated that over 40 million tons of steel corrodes per year causing a loss of over 70 billion dollars. U-104 from Coatings For Industry provides superior protection against corrosion, even over a rusty surface. The extremely small molecules of the moisture-cure urethane penetrate and seal the smallest voids while the high loading of aluminum pigment prevents further penetration of corrosive environments. This coating has found use on bridges, transportation vehicles, storage tanks, and metal buildings. Two coats of U-104 shows extreme levels of corrosion protection in ASTM B-117 Salt Fog testing and real world experience. - One component; easy to apply - Up to 10x the life of a coventional alkyd primer - Over 30 years of proven performance on structural steel
  • Urethabond 109 is a two-component zinc rich moisture cure urethane primer for use on metal substrates in severely corrosive salt environments or anywhere cathodic protection is desired. - 92% zinc in dry film provides long term sacrificial corrosion protection. - Easy to apply with brush, roller, or spray. - Prolonged life when topcoated with Urethabond 104 and/or Urethabond 111.
  • URETHABOND 111 has non-yellowing, nonchalking properties combined with excellent abrasion, chemical, solvent and good heat resistance properties. It provides excellent gloss retention and will continue to retain a high gloss through many years of service. URETHABOND 111 can be applied over a wide variety of properly prepared and primed substrates including structural steel, cold rolled steel, aluminum, concrete, plastics and galvanized steel. In some cases it is self priming, but it is generally used as a topcoat over URETHABOND 104, URETHABOND 109, WEARCOAT 497, and WEARCOAT 499 primers.
  • URETHABOND 166 is a Two package aliphatic urethane, acrylic type, finish coating for exterior applications that can be applied over a wide variety of properly prepared and primed substrates including structural steel, cold rolled steel, aluminum, concrete, plastics and galvanized steel.
  • Urethabond 313 is a two-component aliphatic flexible polyester urethane finish coating for exterior applications. Urethabond 313 is especially useful where a highly flexible and durable coating is needed. It can be applied over a wide variety of properly prepared and primed substrates including structural steel, cold rolled steel, aluminum, concrete, plastics and galvanized steel. In some cases it is self priming, but it is generally used as a topcoat over Urethabond 104. Urethabond 313 has been used for a large variety of applications from shoe insoles to weather balloons and flexible floors. - Extreme flexibility and toughness - Excellent erosion resistance - UV stable for extended weathering - Adheres to a variety of subsrates - Good chemical resistance
