Phillyclad #8 is a two-component, fast setting epoxy laminating resin system for high strength fiberglass reinforced repairs to pipes, tanks, vessels, and other equipment that is subject to corrosion or errosion. This product is capable of high temperature applications (428 Deg. F) and can withstand pressures up to 1000 psi. Characteristics: – easily mixed and applied with simple hand tools – high pressure resistance (1000 psi hydrostatic in one hour) – high temperature resistance (428 Def. F) – rapid cure – resistant to salt water, fresh water, crude & refined oils, gasoline, jet fuels, caustics, and most acids Uses Include: -PVC pipe repair, cargo heating coils, steam pipes, turbine drains, electrical conduit for moisture sealing, tanks, valves, vessels, and other equipment subject to corrosion and errosion during the operating process.
